IB Done!!!!

I WAS really lost as a freshman, wondering the halls, wondering what to do with my life, and with my High School career.

Junior year I joined IB, this was the worst/best decision of my life, I had no idea how it would impact me and how it would influence who I am as both a person, and a student. As a freshman, I had no idea what I wanted, but I always knew my whole life I wanted to go to UNC. I started junior year with this in mind. To be completely honest, junior year was a blur, it was pretty hard, but I was not grown as a person, I was still immature, trying to figure out who I was. Senior year has been full of senioritis, new friends, and amazing opportunities. I've lost and gained new people, I have learned about myself both inside and outside of school. I finally have a grip on who I am and who I want to be. I am proud of everything I have accomplished and I owe so much of that to IB, because I learned quite a lot from those mental breakdowns (and there were many). Flash forward to now, I'm heading to Chapel Hill in the fall, and I have the best friends, and I am so happy to finally be done!!!! Okay now enjoy these pictures from over the years. Also, shoutout to Christina Billman she has been there for the whole high school experience.

Freshman year!! I turned 15, Christina had braces

  2. Oh my God Hayley I love this so much!! I can't believe you exposed me as a freshman like that... but I guess I'll forgive you. I really liked how you incorporated so many pictures in this post to show your growth throughout High School and IB. I agree, Junior year is kind of a blur because it was so insane, but I'm so glad IB kept us close over the past few years! I'm going to stop commenting now because I will cry thinking about going to college without my BFF next year. But yes great blog post I loved it!!!

  3. I reallllyyy like this post. I talked a lot about how I entered high school as an immature freshman and the whole experience allowed me to mature, especially IB. I'm so happy that you're at such a good place in your life and I'm so excited for you that you're going to UNC!! You're going to do great things! Good luck!!
